Hello there!

Today I am sharing the third card with florals this week.

Here it is…

Here is how I’ve created…

  1. Create an A2 card base from Sour Apple card stock. Die cut a rectangle from white card stock as front panel.
  2. Die cut Bold Strips Cover up from mask paper and stick to the front panel.
  3. Apply Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink on the front panel. Peel off the mask paper.
  4. Stamp the sentiment with black ink on the center of the front panel.
  5. Stamp, color and die cut the florals.
  6. Arrange and layer all the pieces on A2 card base.

Hello there!

It’s the last Tuesday of March and there is a new sketch challenge at CC&S.

This week our hostess, Fiona, has come up with a wonderful sketch to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CAS Colours & Sketches).

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock and die cut a Wonky Stitched Rectangle from Kraft card stock as the front panel.
  2. Die cut a fishtail banner from Coral Crush card stock and a square from Cement Gray card stock.
  3. Die cut Sensational Stitched flowers from white, Peach Bellini card stocks.
  4. Die cut leaves from Blu Breeze card stock.
  5. Stamp the words with Versa Mark on black card stock and white embossed. Trim the words to labels.
  6. Arrange, layer and adhere the pieces to the front panel on A2 card base.

Since it’s spring time, I have to challenge myself to create cards with florals. It’s a tough job to arrange and color florals for me. I want to challenge more types of style on my cards. 😅😅😅

Here it is…

Here is how I’ve created…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock and die cut Peek a Boo Polka Dots from Gold Shine card stock as the front panel.
  2. Die cut Sensational Stitched flowers from white, Peach Bellini card stocks.
  3. Die cut layeted leaves from Kraft card stock.
  4. Die cut the word “thanks" from black card stock four times and stack with glues.
  5. Arrange, layer and adhere the pieces to the front panel on A2 card base.
  6. Adhere black rhinestones to the center of flowers.
  7. Add glossy accent on the word “thanks".

FRIEND…

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card inspired by the sketch from My Favorite Things (tap the figure to see the details).

Here is how I’ve created…

  1. Create a side folded A2 card base from Sour Apple card stock.
  2. Stamp, color and die cut the cuties.
  3. Die cut the word “FRIEND" two times from white card stock and once from Blu Raspberry card stock.
  4. Stack up the letters, line up and adhere the letters to card base.
  5. Arrange the cuties and stick to the card base above FRIEND with foam tape.
  6. Stamp the sentiment and add some Nuvo Crystal drops.

Happy Bee-Lated Birthday Wishes

Today I am sharing a birthday card following the theme challenge – One Layer Card featuring Stencils from Less is More Challenge.(tap the figure below to see the details)

Here is how I’ve created…

  1. Create a top folded A2 card base.
  2. Trim a piece of mask paper to A2 size and die cut a hexagon from it.
  3. Stick the negative piece of mask paper to A2 card base.
  4. Die cut mini chicken wire from the hexagon mask paper and stick to the unmasked portion of card base.
  5. Apply Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink with Mini blending tool. Peel off the mask paper.
  6. Stamp and color the bees.
  7. Stamp the sentiment with black ink.

Hello there!

I was struggling for a moment…

Does it work for the spaceship and the alien with CAS style?

Then, I picked up Midnight Blue card stock as the background instead of a watercolor galaxy one.

Here is how I’ve created…

Stamp and color the spaceship and the alien with Copics. Die cut the alien and fussily cut the spaceship. Trim a trapzoid from vellum paper and white embossed the sentiment.

Trying to keep the card CAS, eventually I added some sequins to embellish.

Birthdays Are Full of……

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a birthday card inspired by the quote from Time Out Challenge.

Here is how I’ve created…

  1. Create an A2 card base.
  2. Die cut the Wonky Stitched Rectangle from white card stock as the front panel.
  3. Die cut a heart from mask paper and stick to the front panel.
  4. Stencil the sun ray with Distress Oxide inks in colors of rainbow. Peel off the mask paper.
  5. Stamp and color the smiling face on the masked heart.
  6. Stamp the sentiment.
  7. Adhere the front panel to A2 card base with foam tapes.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #264

Hello there!

It’s the third Tuesday of March, we are having a new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Fiona, has come up a beautiful color combination to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)

I decided to create an Easter card with cross stitching.

Here is how I’ve used the color combo…

  1. Create an A2 card base. Stamp the word “HAPPY", die cut the pop-up word and apply Carved Pumpkin Distress ink on the word “EASTER".
  2. Die cut the cross-stitched tag from white card stock and stitch three bunnies.
  3. Cut off the top portion of tag.
  4. Trim a piece of rose red paper bigger than the stitched paper.
  5. Layer the two pieces with foam tape and double sided tape on A2 card base.

  3. Die cut the tree from white card stock and apply Distress Oxide inks.
  4. Adhere the images to A2 card base and stamp the sentiment.

  3. Stamp,color and die cut the images.
  4. Layer and adhere the pieces to the card base with glue and foam tape.
