CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #327 – Sketch

Hello there!

Today I am sharing two cards created for the new sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Yoon Young , has come up with a wonderful sketch . (tap the sketch figure below for the details)

Here is the first card…

To start off, I trim white card stock to 4″x 5.25″ as the front panel. Die cut the town border from gray card stock and adhere to the front panel. Trim off the four corners to fit the sketch and stamp the sentiment with black ink. Then color the stamped images with Copic markers, cut them out with the coordinating dies and adhere to the front panel with foam tape as show. To finish it, I adhere the front panel to A2 card base with foam tape.

Here is the second one…

To start off, I trim white card stock to 4″x 5.25″ as the front panel, trim off the four corners to fit the sketch and stamp the sentiment with black ink. Then color the stamped images with Copic markers, cut them out with the coordinating dies and adhere to the front panel with foam tape as show. To finish it, I adhere the front panel to A2 card base with foam tape.

Make My Monday Challenge #99 – Begins with B

Hello there!Today I am sharing a card created for the second challenge in June at Make My Monday.

Here is my creation with Bugs…

To start off, I colored the stamped images with Copic markers, cut the images out with the coordinating die and die cut the grass from colored card stock. Trim the white card stock to 4″ x 5.25″, apply Distress Oxide ink with a mini ink blending tool on the top protion and stamp the sentiment with black ink. Adhere the colored imges to the inked panel. To finish my card, I adhere the panel to A2 card base with foam tape.

AAA Cards CAS Game #142 – One Layer + Optional Twist Only Black and White

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a one layer card for the current challenge at AAA Cards Challenge.

I seldom made single layer cards, so it’s a good reason to challenge myself.

And here is my creation…

To start off, I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark on black card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powders. Trim a piece of masking paper to 1″ × 6″ and adhere to front panel to mask the sentiment. Stamp the florals and the leave with Versa Mark and heat embossed with white embossing powders. Peel off the masking paper and adhere the front panel to A2 card base with double sided tape.

The Male Room Challenge #113 – Cooking & Baking

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card for the new challenge at The Male Room.

I have few stamp sets about cooking or baking, I decided to use them on one card. And here is my creation…

To start off, I colored the stamped images with Copic markers, cut the bear out with the coordinating die and fussy cut the oven with a pair of scissors. I stamped the tiny images with Versa Mark on Steel Gray card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powders. Trim the gray card stock to 4″ x 5.25″. Stamp the sentiment with black ink on red card stock and die cut the sentiment strip. Adhere the colored imges and sentiment strip to the front panel. To finish my card, adhere the front panel to A2 card base with foam tape.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #325 – Sketch

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the new sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Yoon Young , has come up with a wonderful sketch . (tap the sketch figure below for the details)

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

To start off, I masked the top and the bottom portion of the front panel with masking tape, stenciled the beach using the Drifts and Hills Stencil and blended the ocean  along with Distress Oxide Inks. I added splatters of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink on the beach and spritzed the panel with a Distress Sprayer to create texture. I also created the spindrift with a white jelly pen. Then peeled off the masking tape, I stenciled sunray with squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide Ink. For the characters, I colored the stamped images with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

AAA Birthday Card Challenges #2 – Use Water Colours

Hello there!

Today I have exciting news to shout out! I am joining in the Design Team at AAA Birthday Card Challenges. And I am looking forward to creating birthday projects with these amazing ladies on the team.

AAA Birthday is a monthly challenge for birthday cards. And this month we have the theme – Use Water Colours for you to play along with us.

Here is my contribution for my very first DT project at AAA Birthday:

To start off, I stamped the sunflowers and leaves on watercolor paper with Versa Mark and white embossed. I painted the images with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, splattered gold paint with a brush and stamped the sentiment with black ink. To finish it, I die cut the panel with a stitched wonky rectangle and adhered it to A2 card base with foam tape.

Make My Monday Challenge #98 – Lots of Flowers

Hello there!

Today I am sharing two cards created for the first challenge in June at Make My Monday.

I seldom created cards with florals which I don’t feel comfortable with. For stretching more styles and techniques, I should step out of my comfort zone.

It’s my very first floral stamp set from Hero Arts and I decided to make a card with watercolor stamping technique.

I used the free crafty paper from the May issue of Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine to finish it. The word thanks was die cut from black card stock three times and stacked up.

ABC Christmas Challenge – L and M Are for…?

Hello there!

It’s the first Wednesday of Junr which means a new challenge over at ABC Christmas Challenge. Helen is our host this month, and the themes are

L is for Little

and

M is for Masking

Here is my “L for Little" card…

I created a little winter scene inside the circle frame. For the background, I stamped the snowfall with VersaMark and white embossed . For the images, I die cut them from colored card stocks .

Here is my “M for Masking" card…

I die cut an oval from masking paper and stick to A2 card panel, stamped the festive background and colored all the tiny images with Copics and Prismacolor pencils. Peel off the oval masking paper and stamped the sentiment with black ink. Trim the A2 panel to 4″ x 5.25″ and adhere to card base with foam tape.
