AAA Cards CAS Game #142 – One Layer + Optional Twist Only Black and White

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a one layer card for the current challenge at AAA Cards Challenge.

I seldom made single layer cards, so it’s a good reason to challenge myself.

And here is my creation…

To start off, I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark on black card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powders. Trim a piece of masking paper to 1″ × 6″ and adhere to front panel to mask the sentiment. Stamp the florals and the leave with Versa Mark and heat embossed with white embossing powders. Peel off the masking paper and adhere the front panel to A2 card base with double sided tape.

I painted the images with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, splattered gold paint with a brush and stamped the sentiment with black ink. To finish it, I die cut the panel with a stitched wonky rectangle and adhered it to A2 card base with foam tape.
