Hello there!

Today I am sharing a birthday card and it’s simple to make.

I used a circle shaker pouch upside down and tucked the Happy Birthday circle frame behind it. It spins perfectly!

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #274 – The Double

Hello there!

It’s Tuesday again and there is a new challenge at CC&S.

This week our hostess, Cathy, has come up with a wonderful sketch and beauriful colours to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CAS Colours & Sketches).

Here is how I’ve been inspired…

  1. Create a 5.25″×5.25″ card base from white card stock. Apply wild honey distress ink on the card base.
  2. Trim a 5″×5″ square from white card stock. Stamp Distressed Strip with wild honey distress ink.
  3. Die cut a stitched rectangle from white card stock. Stamp Wood Plank background with gray ink.
  4. Die cut the butterflies from white and orange card stocks.
  5. Die cut Fringed Scallop Border from white card stock and apply wild honey distress ink with mini ink blending tool.
  6. Stamp the words “THANK" & “YOU" with black ink and die cut.
  7. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to the card base with double sided tape and foam tape.
  8. Decorate with sparkling sequins.

MFT Mermazing

Hello there!

Today I am sharing an interactive birthday card.

Here is how I’ve created…

For the cake, I put Cloud Stencil upside down and blend salty ocean, spun sugar & shaded lilac distress ink to create waves on white card stock. Die cut with Interactive Birthday Cake die.

For the images, I use MFT Mermazing stamp set, color with Copics and die cut.

For the sentiment, I use MFT Twice the Wishes and white embossed.

I also add some clear droplets for the bubbles in water.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #273 – Sketch

Hello there!

It’s Tuesday again and there is a new sketch challenge at CC&S.

This week our hostess, Cathy, has come up with a wonderful sketch to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CAS Colours & Sketches).

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

  1. Create a side-fold A2 card base from Bubble Gum card stock.
  2. Position flop card die at the middle and die cut. Score a valley fold along the line that the die provides.
  3. Die cut square panel from white card stock. Blend spiced marmalade & mustard seed distress inks for background.
  4. Die cut rectangle panel from white card stock. Stencil Sun Ray with squeezed lemonade distress ink.
  5. Die cut two pieces of grassy hills from white card stock and blend cracked pistachio distress ink.
  6. Stamp, color & die cut images.
  7. Layer and adhere grassy hills and the images as shown.
  8. Adhere square panel to card front.
  9. Adhere rectangle panel to the interior.

Today I am sharing a card following the sketch from My Favorite Things and I’ve rotated the sketch to finish my creation.(Please tap the figure below for the details)

Here is how I’ve created…

  1. Create an A2 card base and an A2 white card stock as the front panel.
  2. Stencil the mini clouds with salty ocean Distress ink.
  3. Die cut a grassy hill from white card stock. Apply twisted citron & mown lawn Distress inks and spray some water.
  4. Die cut the sliding channel from the grassy hill.
  5. Die cut the road from gray card stock.
  6. Stamp, color and die cut the images.
  7. Arrange and layer all the pieces mentioned above on A2 card base with double sided tapes and foam tapes.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #272 – Colours

Hello there!

It’s Tuesday again, we are having a new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Cathy, has come up a beautiful color combination to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)

Since the semester is coming to the end, I have to make a bunch of Thank You cards for my girls’ teachers.

Here is how I’ve used the color combo…

  1. Create an A2 card base.
  2. Stamp All Over Roses Background (My Favorite Thongs) with VersaMark on blue card stock and white embossed.
  3. Die cut Thanks Scallop Border (Simon Says Stamps) from white card stock.
  4. Die cut Layered Leaves (My Favorite Things) from Gumdrop Green card stock.
  5. Die cut Loopy Bloom (My Favorite Things) from yellow felt. Assemble with hot glue to secure the rolled bloom.
  6. Layer all the pieces mentioned above with foam tape and double sided tape on A2 card base.
  7. Decorate with clear droplets on the leaves.

Today I am sharing a card following the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch. (Please tap the figure below for the details)

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

I stamp the Eiffel Tower on watercolor paper and color with Copics 100. The landscape of the other buildings were solid stamped with black ink.

I apply wilted violet, victorian velvet and milled lavender Distress inks as the background.

I stamp the word Merci with VersaMark and gold embossed. I also add a strip from Gold Sparkle card stock to finish the sketch.
