CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #278 – Sketch

Hello there!

It’s the last Tuesday in June and there is a new sketch challenge at CC&S.

I have come up with a simple sketch to inspire you. (tap the figure below for the details at CAS Colours & Sketches).

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

  1. Create a top-fold A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Trim a piece of patterned paper.
  3. Die cut two stitched rectangles from white and Blu Raspberry card stock.
  4. Stamp and color the image on the white one.
  5. Die cut tiny hearts from red card stock and.
  6. Layer and adhere the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #277 – Colours

Hello there!

It’s the third Tuesday of the month, we are having a new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

I have come up a colour combination to inspire you. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)

Here is how I’ve used the color combo…

  1. Create an A2 card base.
  2. Die cut an oval from white card stock. Create a beach scene with Copic markers. For the sand: E51 53 33; For the sea: BG10, 11,13,15; For the sky: BG10, B000.
  3. Stamp, color and die cut the penguin. I used Copic markers C3, C5, C7, YR02, YR16, YR61, YR65, YR68 to color the image.
  4. Die cut an oval scallop edge frame from white card stock.
  5. Layer all the pieces mentioned above with foam tape and double sided tape on card base.
  6. Stamp the sentiment with black ink.

Mission Control, We Have a Birthday!

Hello there!

Today I am sharing an interactive birthday cake featuring galaxy space for my nephew who wants be an astronaut.

Here is how I’ve created…

For the cake, I blend mustard seed, picked raspberry, seedless preserves, faded jeans & black shoot distress inks to create the galaxy background on white card stock. Splash water and Copuc White with paint brush. Die cut with MFT Interactive Birthday Cake die.

For the images, I use MFT Space Explore & Out of This World stamp sets, color with Copics and die cut.

For the sentiment, I use MFT Space Explore stamp set, stamp with Versa Mark & white embossed.

I also add some tiny stars die cut from MFT Lemon Drop card stock.

CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge #276 – Sketch

Hello there!

It’s Tuesday again and there is a new sketch challenge at CC&S.

I have come up with a fun sketch to inspire you. (tap the figure below for the details at CAS Colours & Sketches).

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

  1. Create a side-fold A2 card base from Blu Raspberry card stock and stamp the sentiment.
  2. Die cut “FRIEND" from Coral Crush card stock five times and stack up the alphabet.
  3. Stamp, color & die cut images.
  4. Layer and adhere the alphabet and images to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #275 – Colours

Hello there!

How could it be June already?

It’s my first time to host challenges at CAS Colours & Sketches, and I hope you enjoy what I’ve come up with for the challenges in June.

It’s the first Tuesday of the month, we are having a new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

I have come up a bright colour combination to inspire you. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)

Since the temperature is going up to 32°C in Taiwan, I grab one of my favorite stamp set “So Cool" to cool down.

Here is how I’ve used the color combo…

  1. Create an A2 card base. Apply black shoot distress ink on the left and right sides.
  2. Trim a white card stock to 4″ x 5.5″ as the front panel. Splash some black paint with paint brush.
  3. Stamp, color, clear embossed and die cut the popsicles.
  4. Stamp the sentiment with Versa Mark on black paper strip and white embossed.
  5. Layer all the pieces mentioned above with foam tape and double sided tape on front panel
  6. Decorate with some clear droplets.

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a masculine card that I had some struggle to make.

Here is how I’ve created…

  1. Create a side-fold A2 card base.
  2. Stencil the hexastar with salty ocean distress ink.
  3. Use Well-Connecred Alphabet to stamp the sentiment “ouch!".
  4. Trim a strip of the white card stock. Blend gathered twigs and ground espresso distress inks with Mini blending tool.
  5. Stamp, color and die cut the cactuses.
  6. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to A2 card base.
