CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #300 – A Sketch for Our Birthday

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the new sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Patricia, has come up with a fun sketch to inspire me. (tap the sketch figure below for the details)

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

  1. Create an A2 card base from green card stock.
  2. Die cut a rectangle from white card stock as front panel.
  3. Die cut Balloons with alphabet from colorful card stock and white card stock.
  4. Adhere the alphabet from white card stock to the colorful balloons.
  5. Stamp, color and die cut the loin and notes.
  6. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a quickly done Christmas card.

Here is my creation…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Trim a piece of blue card stock to 4″x5.5″ as front panel.
    Stamp the sentiment with Versa Mark and gold embossed.
  3. Die cut a traditional star from silver sparkle card stock.
  4. Die cut country landscape from white card stock.
  5. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to A2 card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the Mechnical/Moving Part challenge at The Male Room.

Here is my creation…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Trim a piece of white card stock to 4.25″x5.5″ as front panel.
    Apply salty ocean & blue sketch distress oxide inks. Splash some white paint as snowfall.
  3. Die cut mountains from gray card stock.
  4. Die cut two snow drifts from white card stock.
    Die cut the double slider loop slot. from the taller one.
  5. Die cut pull tab from white card stock and stamp the word “PULL".
  6. Trim a piece of plastic bag to 1/2″ in width.
  7. Stamp, color and die cut the images.
  8. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

Today I am sharing a card created for the new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Here is how I’ve used the colors…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Die cut a rectangle from white card stock.
    Die cut the snowfall background.
  3. Die cut two snow drifts from white card stock.
  4. Stamp the tress with colored inks and die cut.
    Here are the inks I’ve used.
    Hero Arts Pastel Mint, MFT Cherry Crisp and Ranger Pine Needles distress ink
  5. Layer and adhere all the pieces to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

Cards In Envy – Santa Baby

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the Santa Baby challenge at Cards In Envy.

Here is my creation…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Trim a piece of gray card stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ as the front panel.
    Stencil the snowfall with white Pigment ink. Die cut HO HO HO and keep the negative piece as the shaker window.
  3. Adhere a piece of acetate behind the gray panel.
    Adhere foam tape around the three words and add some sequins and beads. Adhere a piece of red card stock behind the shakers.
  4. Stamp, color and die cit the Santa.
  5. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

Today I am sharing a card created for the new sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock. Apply faded jeans and chipped sapphire distress inks with mini ink blending tools. Spray white paint with a paint brush.
  2. Trim a piece of white card stock to 4.24″ x 5.5″ as front panel. Die cut a peek-a-boo window. Die cut scallop edge.
  3. Stamp, color and die cut the llama.
  4. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

Today I am sharing a card created for the Inspired by a Famous Artist challenge at The Male Room.

Here is my creation…

  1. Create an A2 card base from lavender card stock.
  2. Die cut a rectangle from white card stock as front panel. Stamp the sentiment.
  3. Die cut four small squares from white card stock. Stamp the llama on the four squares. Color the images and the background with Copics.
  4. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.

Today I am sharing a card created for the new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Here is how I’ve used the colors…

  1. Create an A2 card base from white card stock.
  2. Die cut a rectangle from white card stock. Stencil the snowfall with tumble glass distress ink with a mini ink blending tool.
  3. Die cut a strip from gold sparkle card stock. Stamp the sentiment with Versa Mark and white embossed.
  4. Stamp, color and die cut the images.
    Here are the Copics I’ve used.
    Gift boxes: B01, B00, B000, Y18, Y15, Y13.
    Llama: W3, W1, W0, R59, R39, RV19, E27.
  5. Layer and adhere all the pieces to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.
