Make My Monday Challenge #98 – Lots of Flowers

Hello there!

Today I am sharing two cards created for the first challenge in June at Make My Monday.
Silvi is the host of this challenge, and the theme is

Lots of Flowers

I seldom created cards with florals which I don’t feel comfortable with. For stretching more styles and techniques, I should step out of my comfort zone.

Here is my first creation…

It’s my very first floral stamp set from Hero Arts and I decided to make a card with watercolor stamping technique.

Supplies:
Hero Arts
You’re lovely
My Favorite Things
Grateful

Here is my second creation…

I used the free crafty paper from the May issue of Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine to finish it. The word thanks was die cut from black card stock three times and stacked up.

Thank you for spending some time with me. I hope you can head on over Make My Monday blog to enter the challenge and to see more inspiration from the awesome Design Team.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #314 – Sketch

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the new sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Fiona, has come up with a wonderful sketch . (tap the sketch figure below for the details)

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

I died cut the sunshine from white card stock and kept the negative piece as the front panel. I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark on chocolate card stock and white embossed. The front panel was adhered to yellow card stock with foam tape.

Supplies:
My Favorite Things
Sunshine Shaker Die
Full of Sunshine

I used the free digital Easter craft paper from Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine for the main image. I shortened the gap with a photo editor and printed it out on white card stock, then stamped the sentiment with black ink. The patterned paper behind the front panel is also a free digital one.

Here is the original version before I shortened the gap.

Supplies:
My Favorite Things
Somebunny Sweet
