Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card with cross stitching and I really enjoyed the process. I’ve found some cross-stitched patterns and I decided to made cards with them.

Here is how I’ve created…

Create an A2 card base from light green card stock and stamp the sentiment.
Die cut the cross-stitched tag from white card stock and stitch the clover with white and green strings.
Cut off the top portion of the cross-stitched tag.
Trim a rectangle from dark green card stock.
Layer all the pieces on A2 card base with double sided tape.

Today I am sharing a project I’ve created for celebrating White Day which is celebrated on March 14th, one month after Valentine’s Day.
White Day was first celebrated in 1978 in Japan. It was started by the National Confectionery Industry Association as an “answer day" to Valentine’s Day on the grounds that men should pay back the women who gave them chocolate and other gifts on Valentine’s Day.

I used two stamp sets to create the card, and the images I’ve not applied on the card were created as the paper dolls. Are they too cute?

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card with an Ombre and Monochrome look.

Here is how I’ve created…

Create a top-folded A2 card base.
Stamp the flowers and leaves with black ink.
Color the images with Copics (C5, C3, C1, C0).
Die cut the word “thanks" from black card stock four times and stack with glue.
Adhere the word to the card base.

Most people in my country don’t like flowers in black , white or gray. Maybe I will not delivery this card to anyone! I just want to give it a try for the monochrome look with flowers. And I do love the result…

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #263 – Sketch

It’s the second Tuesday of March and there is a new sketch challenge at CC&S.

This week our hostess, Fiona, has come up with a wonderful sketch to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CAS Colours & Sketches).

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

Create a top-folded A2 card base and apply Distress inks on the corners .
Trim a piece of card stock to A2 size and die cut the corners with a circle die as the front panel.
Stamp, color and die cut the images.
Arrange, layer and adhere the images and thefront panel on A2 card base.

Today I am sharing a birthday card following the sketch from My Favorite Things Wed. Sketch Challenge.

Here is how I’ve created…

Create a top-folded A2 card base from watercolor paper.
Apply Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks on the card base.
Stamp the party patterns with white Pigment ink and the sentiment with black ink.
Stamp, color and die cut the girl.
Adhere the image to the card base with foam tape.

CAS Colours and Sketches #262 – Colours

Hello there!

It’s the first Tuesday of March, we are having a new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Fiona, has come up a beautiful color combination to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)

I’ve considered what images I should used for the colors for a few days, but still have no ideas. I asked for some thoughts from my hubby, then he pointed to the striped bed sheet with these colors. I think I have an idea from my hubby and Jennifer Mcquire.

Here is how I’ve used the color combo…

Create an A2 card base and an A2 size paper with double sided tape.
Trim the colored paper to stripes with different width.
Adhere the colored stripes to the A2 size paper and trim it to a rectangle.
Die cut HELLO from the striped rectangle and white card stock.
Adhere HELLO from white card stock to the striped rectangle and add some clear droplets.
Layer the striped rectangle with foam tape on A2 card base.

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a celebrating card for a girl, Besty, who I’ve known since she was sixteen. Besty is a girl who has the brightest smile and positive thoughts. I am so happy for her that she has found the Mr. Right who has the bright smile and positive thoughts as she does!

Here is how I’ve created…

Create a top-folded A2 card base, trim watercolor paper to A2 size and die cut a rectangle scallop frame from white card stock.
Blend the sunset scene with squeezed lemonade and picked raspberry Distress inks on the upside of the watercolor paper.
Blend the lake scene with tumble glass and mermaid lagoon Distress inks on the bottom of the watercolor paper.
Stamp, color & die cut the images.
Arrange and layer the images and the frame on the blended watercolor paper. Then stamp the sentiment.
Add some clear droplets for decoration.
Adhere the watercolor paper to A2 card base.

Have you noticed that I’ve arranged the swans to create a heart shape?

First of all, I want to thank to the DT at AAA Cards Challenge for offering me an opportunity to be a guest designer.

Today I am sharing a birthday card featuring Ombre for the guest designer’s post at AAA Cards Challenge.(Please tap the figure below for the details at AAA Cards)

Here is how I’ve created…

Created a top-folded A2 card base.
Stamp the candles on watercolor paper with Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover and Pine Needles Distress inks, then die cut. (Thanks to MISTI for stamping the candles over ten times without any shift!)
Die cut the flames and the tiny hearts from watercolor paper and color with Copic Markers (YR04, Y17, Y13, R29).
Arrange and layer the images on A2 card base.
Stamp the sentiment with black ink.
