CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #268 – Colours

Hello there!

It’s the third Tuesday of April, we are having a new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Karen, has come up a beautiful color combination to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)

When I was considering which stamp set I should pick for these colours, raindrops were starting to patter. I was inspired by the sound of dripping…

Here is a closer look at the texture…

Here is how I’ve used the color combo…

  1. Create an A2 card base.
  2. Stencil the raindrops with Nuvo Glimmer paste on the card base.
  3. Stamp the sentiment on card base.
  4. Stamp, color and die cut the images.
  5. Layer the images and black & white stripe with foam tape and double sided tape on A2 card base.

Thank you for spending some time with me.

I hope you can head on over to the CC&S blog to enter the challenge and to see more inspiration from the awesome Design Team.

It’s also for the entry of

  1. I didn’t notice the glittery raindrops at first, but they are perfect for the theme of your card! I like how you’ve coordinated the raincoat and the umbrella by adding the white polka dots to them. This is such a cute use of the CC&S challenge colors! 🙂
