Sweet Hello

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card following the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. (Please tap the figure below for the details)

Here is how I’ve created…

It’s my first stamp set from Art Impressions and I do love the characters they’ve created.

I stamped the image on white card stock, colored with Copics and fussy cut (the hardest technique to overcome). I’ve wanted to try fussy cutting for a long time, and I am happy with the result.

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card following the sketch from My Favorite Things(tap the figure below for the details).

Here is how I’ve created…

I stamped & colored all the images from Farm Friends stamp set and stamped the tiny chick in the tractor as the driver with masking technique.

For the scene, I used a piece of patterned paper for the hill, kraft card stock for the fence and stenciled the sun ray behind hill.

Color Throwdown #486

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card following the palette from Color Throwdown.

It’s really a beautiful color combo for the coming spring.

I have many floral stamp sets, but I seldom use them. There was alwalys something wrong with stamping solid and layered images.

After a process of trial and error, I got a good result of these floral.

I picked three Distress Oxide inks including Tattered Roses, Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade which are the most similar colors to the palette in hand.

I applied the inks with mini ink blending tool, sponged slightly on the solid stamps and stamped on white card stock. I had to repeat the process four to six times for each image to get the perfect one.

For this card, I stamped about 30 flowers and leaves and die cut. Then, I chose these ones for my card. Arrange and layer them on card base with double sided tape and foam tape. I also added Nuvo crystal drops for decoration.

Although I’ve spend much time for stamping, I am happy with how they turned out.

Thanks for spending some time with me and I hope you can revisit my blog again.
