CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #315 – Colours

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the new colour challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

I am the hostess in April. I hope you enjoy what I have come up with for the challenges and to start off I have a bright colour combination to inspire you (tap the figure below for the details).

Here is how I’ve used the colours…

For the characters, I colored it with Copics and a white jelly pen.
Here are the Copics I’ve used.
Grapefruit Grove: YR16, YR02, YR01
Granny Apple Green: YG17, YG25, YG03,
Gorgeous Grape: BV17, V17, V15, V12
Skin: E33, E53, E51, E50, R21, R20
Beard: C3, C2, C1, C00
Shoes: E27, E25, E23

For the word, I died cut from white card stock five times and from patterned paper once, then stacked them up.

Make My Monday Challenge #93 – Something Humorous

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the first challenge in April at Make My Monday.
Dawn is our host of this challenge, and the theme is

Something Humorous

Here is my creation…

I partially die cut an arch from white and black card stock. I kept the negative piece from black card as the front panel and adhered the eerie eyes.
I stamped the character on the white one and colored with Copics and a white jelly pen.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #314 – Sketch

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the new sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

Our monthly hostess, Fiona, has come up with a wonderful sketch . (tap the sketch figure below for the details)

Here is how I’ve used the sketch…

I died cut the sunshine from white card stock and kept the negative piece as the front panel. I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark on chocolate card stock and white embossed. The front panel was adhered to yellow card stock with foam tape.

I used the free digital Easter craft paper from Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine for the main image. I shortened the gap with a photo editor and printed it out on white card stock, then stamped the sentiment with black ink. The patterned paper behind the front panel is also a free digital one.

Here is the original version before I shortened the gap.

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a card created for the new sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

I’ve rotate the sketch for creating the jungle scene! For the background, I stenciled the cloud edges with tumble glass distress ink. For the characters, I colored them with Copics and a white jelly pen.
