Let it Snow!

Hello there!

Today I am sharing a X’mas card with a wintery scene.

  1. The snowfall background was stenciled with white pigment ink on Blu Raspberry card stock.
  2. The birch tree, snowman and snow drift were die cut from white card stock.
  3. The front panel was cut with a circle die twice from white card stock.
  4. All the pieces were layered on A2 card base with foam tapes & double sided tapes.

Hello, crafty friends!

It’s already December and Christmas is just around the corner.

Today I am sharing a X’mas card with a cute dinosaur.

  1. The dinasour, Santa hat and the gift were stamped with black ink, colored with Copic markers and were cut with the matching dies.
  2. The sentiment was stamped on red card stock and was cut with a speech bubble die.
  3. All the pieces were layered on A2 card base with double sided tapes.

DIY Bookmarkers

Hello there!

I am sharing a project I created for teenagers.

Last Saturday, I was invited to a junior high school to inspire fifty teenagers. I started with these cute bookmarkers and they really love them.

Hello there!

I am sharing a X’mas card today.

  1. A circular mask paper was applied on A2 card base for the moon.
  2. The sky was blended with Distress inks & white paint was splashed on it.
  3. Peeled off the mask paper.
  4. The brick wall was stenciled with fire brick Distress Oxide ink on white card stock & was adhered with foam tapes on A2 card base.
  5. The cats were stamped with black ink & were colored with Copic markers.
  6. The cats were put on Santa hats and scarf.
  7. The sentiments was die cut and adhered on the brick wall.

    Celebrate 

    Hi there!

    I am sharing the 2nd card today.

    The background was stenciled in Distress Oxide Inks, and the word “celebrate" was die cut from the stenciled card stock.

    The word was die cut from white card stock several times and layered for the dimension.

    The layered word was adhered on the opening space of the stenciled card stock, then the first cut word was adhered on the top of it.

    Hope you can see the dimension.

    Happy Birthday

    Hi there!

    Today I am sharing a birthday card with watercolor background.

    I picked three watercolors in blue tone to finish the background. The sentiment was die cut from white card stock five times and  layed for the dimension.

    It’s my girl, Linda’s 10th birthday today. I can’t imagine that she is TEN years old.

    We are going to take her to a restaurant for celebrating.

    Hi there!

    After creating several X’mas cards, I am sharing a New Year’s card (still holiday cards, LOL).

    1. New York skyline was die cut from black card stock & gold shine card stock.
    2. The two pieces were layerd with a little shift.
    3. The sentiments were gold embossed.
    4. The fireworks were stenciled with Delicata metallic inks on black card stock as the background.
    5. The skyline was adhered with foam tapes on the background for adding some dimension.

    Actually, it’s the 2nd version. For entering CAS card challenges, the 2nd one was kept more “WHITE SPACE".

    Here is the first one I created.
