CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #255

Hello there!

Since it’s the third week of the month, we are having a colour challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.

This week our hostess, Beverley, has come up with the wonderful color combination to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)

Here is how I used the color combination…

1. Mask paper was applied on A2 card base for stenciling the background.
2. The sun ray was stenciled with Distress Tumble Glass ink with mini ink blending tool.
3. The sentiment was stamped with black ink at the bottom of the stenciled sun ray.
4. The hot air balloon was colored with Copic markers & die cut.
5. The image wad adhered with foam tapes over the stenciled background.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #254

Happy New Year!

I am thrilled that it’s my first DT post at CAS Colours & Sketches. I am looking forward to having fun with the DT at CC&S and you!

This month our hostess is Beverley and this week she has come up with this wonderful sketch to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)

Here is how I used the sketch…

1. Roses All Over Background was stamped on A2 card base with Wild Honey Distress Oxide.
2. White card stock was cut with Wonky Stitched Rectangle die as the front panel.
3. The front panel was cut with Stitched Basic Edge.
4. The two pieces were separated a bit to form a gap and were adhered with foam tapes on A2 card base.
5. The band-aid was die cut from Kraft card stock and was adhered over the gap.
6. The doodle eyes were adhered on the band-aid.

Actually, I created the second one with this Sketch. Which one do you prefer?

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #254 Card 2

Happy New Year!

I am thrilled that it’s my first DT post at CAS Colours & Sketches. I am looking forward to having fun with the DT at CC&S and you!

This month our hostess is Beverley and this week she has come up with this wonderful sketch to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)

Since I have an idea with my new goodies, I turned it into another card for CC&S Challenge #254.

Here is how I used the sketch…

1. Green & Gray card stocks were trimmed into 4.25″ x 5.5″.
2. The road was die cut from the two papers mentioned above.
3. The gray road was inlaid on the green card stock.
4. The bear in the car was colored with Copic markers & was die cut.
5. All the pieces were layered on A2 card base to fit the sketch.
