Cards in Envy – Something New

Hello there!

Yay! I have great news to share with you that I am joining in the design team at Cards in Envy. I am looking forward to creating projects with these amazing ladies in the CIE DT.

The first the challenge I’ve created for CIE is Something New and it looks like a great sign to me. I’ve thought of several projects and I decided to create a card for a baby girl with a new stamp set and a new tag die.

Here is how I’ve created…

  1. Create an A2 card base from Bubblegum card stock.
  2. Die cut the scallop cross-stitch tag from white card stock. Embellish with ribbon and a piece of twine.
  3. Stamp, color and die cut the images.
  4. Stamp the sentiment with Versa Mark on black card stock and white embossed. Die cut the sentiment.
  5. Layer and adhere all the pieces mentioned above to card base with double sided tape and foam tape.
  6. Add some Nuvo Crystal drops around the tag.

Thank you for spending some time with me.

I hope you can head on over Cards in Envy blog to enter the challenge and to see more inspiration from the awesome Design Team.

  3. Stitch the gift box with DMC thread (No. 600, 644 & 747)
  4. Stamp the sentiment with Versa Mark on black card stock, white embossed and die cut.
  5. Layer the tag and the sentiment strip with foam tape and double sided tape on A2 card base.

Merriest Wishes

Hello there,

I am here sharing the 2nd hand stitched card.

I am kind of obsessed with stitching lately because of MFT Cross-Stitch Tag Die-namics.

You can download cross-stitch patterns on MFT’ s website here or creat your own patterns.I am new to cross-stitching so I use the patterns which were offered by MFT. Actually, you can find a lot patterns by Google “Cross stitch pattern".

Here is the card for a dear friend who is obsessed with PURPLEs. Hope she will love it!
