Hello there!
It’s the first Tuesday of May, we are having a new color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.
Our monthly hostess, Cathy, has come up a beautiful color combination to inspire us. (tap the figure below for the details at CC&S)
I decided to make a cross-stitching card for the colors.
Here is how I’ve used the color combo…
- Create an A2 card base.
- Die cut a Cross Stitch Tag and trim off the top portion.
- Stitch the gift box with DMC thread (No. 600, 644 & 747)
- Stamp the sentiment with Versa Mark on black card stock, white embossed and die cut.
- Layer the tag and the sentiment strip with foam tape and double sided tape on A2 card base.
Thank you for spending some time with me.
I hope you can head on over to the CC&S blog to enter the challenge and to see more inspiration from the awesome Design Team.
FUN! Loving this cross stitch trend and you’ve used the colours wonderfully. Thanks for the inspiration. Hugs Bev x
